Jessica Torgas

Jessi Torgas, originally from Miami, FL, graduated in 2010 from Florida International University where she received her BA in English Literature with a Minor in Dance. She began dancing at the age of 3 and has been trained in tap, jazz, ballet, pointe, hip hop, musical theatre, flamenco, partnering, contemporary, lyrical, modern, and Latin dance.

Jessi has been a performer at Universal Studios Orlando Resort in shows such as Universal’s Super Star Parade with the Dora unit and the SpongeBob unit, Universal’s Grinchmas Wholiday Spectacular, Halloween Horror Nights, Mardi Gras, Universal’s Holiday Parade ft. Macy’s, & EVE as well as numerous special events. She also performed at Disney’s EPCOT theme park with Mariachi Cobre in The Story of Coco as a folkloric dancer. Jessi currently works at Legoland Florida Resort as an actress portraying Olivia, one of the Lego Friends. Along with theme park work, Jessi is also a dancer for numerous entertainment companies across Orlando such as D Squared Productions Inc., Eklectic Entertainment, & Hardrive Productions.

This fall, Jessi was selected to be a member of the opening cast of ¡Vamos! – Bailalo, an all-new show at Universal Studios that is an inclusive, interactive, high-energy Latin dance experience where dancers fill the street of New York with choreographed dances numbers full of Latin flavor and invite the crowd to join in on the fun.
